Avatr officially announced its ambitious plan to expand its presence into 50 countries and regions by the year 2025. The announcement came during the recent Chang’an Auto brand European launch event held in Germany. Avatr showcased its lineup, including the Avatr 11, Avatr 12, Avatr 07, and the Avatr 12 Royal Theatre Edition at the event. Zhu Huarong, Chairman of Chang’an Auto and Chairman of Avatr Technology, stated, “Avatr products will also be launched in the European market in the future.” This aligns with Avatr’s strategic goal to enter 50 countries and regions by 2025.

This news follows a strong sales performance in March, where Avatr reported sales of 10,475 units, marking a doubling in both year-on-year and month-on-month figures. Furthermore, Avatr’s fourth strategic product, the Avatr 06, has recently commenced pre-orders, achieving an impressive 20,117 orders within the first 26 hours. Following its launch in April, the Avatr 06 is expected to significantly boost the brand’s sales volume. In addition, the first batch of Avatr 012 vehicles has already been delivered to customers.
As a recap, the Avatr 06 has a starting pre-sale price of RMB 215,900 and is scheduled to be launched in April. Positioned as a mid-size vehicle, it is equipped with LiDAR and Huawei’s ADS (Advanced Driving System). The Avatr 06 offers both pure electric and range-extended powertrain options. The pure electric models utilize a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 252kW, while the dual-motor version features front and rear motors with power outputs of 188kW and 252kW, respectively. The CLTC pure electric range is 650km and 600km for the single and dual-motor versions. The range-extended version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 115kW and an electric motor with a maximum power of 231kW. The pure electric range for the range-extended version is 170km and 240km. Notably, the new vehicle will also feature a combination of air suspension, CDC (Continuous Damping Control), and hydraulic bushings, offering a suspension adjustment range of +25 to -20mm.
